Hello everyone,
Well, we seem to be experiencing a perfect Spring, with warm days and cool nights. I hope it lasts for another week or two, before the inevitable Summer heat.
This week’s first story begins with a disclaimer, although the story is entirely fictional. The title is “Chance Encounter” and was written by me about a wine distillery, a gigolo, and a blue convertible car. The poem of the week is emotional and raw, titled “Not a Love Story and written by Robert O’Meara. The author of the week is Deb Rouleau, who writes about her childhood pony and their tragic relationship in a story titled “OnceUponAPony”. Then we have the popular micro-stories. This week, a 100-word story by Michelle Dinnick, titled “Above the Clouds”, her experience with flying. Then a 50-word story by Robert O’Meara, a story of child abuse, titled “Rachel, For Example”.
I hope you enjoy the stories. Please share with your friends, writingblog.ca and don’t forget to send your comments.
I would love to read your stories and publish them on my blog. You can send them to me at, brendashort@writingblog.ca and you always retain your copyright.
