Christmas Day 2023

Hello everyone,

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa, or any other celebration. In other words, have a wonderful day. This is a perfect day for celebrating, not too cold, but with a residual snow covering, making it almost a white Christmas.

Join me in the New Year for more stories and poems from our local authors. I will resume the blog on Jan 16th. Don’t forget to memorialize your Christmas events this season. Add them to your memoir notes and save for your family.

I hope that you have a relaxing break, and have the opportunity to spend time with your family or loved one. If you are struggling with your health, I wish the best for you in the New Year. While I remember, Happy New Year too!

Don’t forget the January challenge - write a humerous profile for a dating web site. No word limitations, well maybe 200 words! A $25 gift card to be won. Send your entries to bshort@writingblog.ca by Jan 21st, 11:59 p.m.

For example, here’s one of mine: Male – 70’s. Into extreme sports, curling, lawn bowling, and tai chi to name the few.  Looking for someone with similar interests, and willing to share their inhaler in an emergency.

Good luck,

Bren
