Hello everyone,
Welcome once more to my blog on a snowy December day. Why don’t you curl up with a hot chocolate and read this week’s stories and a poem on writingblog.ca, mostly written by me this time. Beginning with a story about loving relatives, titled “It’s All About Roy”. Next, the conclusion of last week’s story, titled “The Christmas List.” A poem for the young, titled “Elf On the Shelf,” and finally a professional gambler’s observations by Angie Rose-Carnegie, titled “Trusted Advice”.
Please send your Christmas stories and poems to brendashort@writingblog.ca for a chance to be published this month and don’t forget your Ugly Christmas Sweater picture. If you want to win the prize, send it in no later than December 17th. Also your Christmas greetings if you wish to send your holiday greetings to friends and family. You can combine the two if you like.
Comments on the stories are always appreciated.
Bren
We used to attend a Christmas Eve party given by my adopted French-Canadian family. This is the dress/top I showed up in one year — pre-Covid. Gotta love GT Boutique!!
