Hello everyone,
Well, we’re hopefully coming to the end of winter as spring officially begins in less than two weeks. The robins are actively looking for a mate and the finches are changing rapidly into their vivid yellow plumage. There is hope for an end to the winter weather soon. Join me this week with a beautiful poem from Angela van Breemen – an homage to the changing of the seasons, titled “The Dance of the North and South. It will be St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th. and to celebrate that, I have written a story, titled “The Luck of the Irish”. Then we have a story of hope and determination, by Deb Rouleau who is one of my most recent contributors. Her story is titled “Joanne’s Journey”.
Finally, don’t forget to check out the micro-stories on the fourth page. “The Scream Behind Us” by Michelle Dinnick and “Ageless” by Mary Penner. Well done ladies.
Another of my contributing authors, Peter Pontsa, has a book launch on Sunday, March 19 from 2-5 pm. in Orangeville. He will give a reading from his book “Outfoxed” and will be available to sign copies. Details are on my blog writingblog.ca. Please show your support for Peter.
Until next time,
Brenda Short
