Short’s Shorts Blog for April 9th

Hello everyone,

Happy Easter Sunday to all of you who celebrate at this time. This week’s stories begin with the first story that I wrote for my writing group, just after joining them in 2017, titled “Unexpected Treasure”. The story is about an archaeological dig and bandits. This is followed by a delightful poet by Angela van Breemen, titled “The Heart of Art”. Next is Robert O’Meara’s sad story about an assisted death, titled “Walk With Me”. Then there are two micro-stories, the first by Deb Rouleau, titled “The Colour of the Day” and the second by Mary Penner, titled “Dodging a Bullet”.

I hope you enjoy these contributions, and if you would like to see your own stories in print, please send them to brendashort@writingblog.ca
